ABOUT THE FOUNDER / EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dr. Priscilla D. Thomas, is the Vice Chair of the Chatham County Commission and is currently the longest serving Chatham County Commissioner, now in her 19th year. A Savannah native, Dr. Thomas graduated from Tompkins High School; earned a B.S. Degree from Savannah State University; earned a M.S. Degree from Bradley University; earned the Ph.D Degree from North America University; and earned an Administrative Certification, Atlanta University and the University of Georgia. Dr. Thomas is a retired teacher/principal, and Certified Independent Meeting-Event Planner/Educational and Travel Consultant. She currently serves as Founder/Director of the Summer Bonanza Partnership, Inc., Founder, Chatham County Youth Commission. Past International President of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., Past President, Chatham County Retired Teacher’s Association, a "Hall of Famer", community and youth activist. Life-long member of FairLawn Baptist Church, Chairman Board of Trustees. Dr. Thomas is married to Mr. Nathaniel Thomas, they have one daughter, Debra and a grandson, "C.J."
